Storyteller shares challenges faced of being pregnant during Covid

The individual's experience living in the UK was initially difficult and emotionally challenging. They faced hardships during pregnancy and childbirth due to COVID restrictions. However, after obtaining their resident card, their situation improved. 

They settled down, acquired a house and car, and found convenience in shopping. Despite being far from family, they appreciate the opportunities and rights provided by the UK government. It took them over two years to obtain their residency, which was longer for the husband. He struggled with staying at home and eventually found work after obtaining residency. They value independence and self-sufficiency.
