This storyteller speaks about some of the challenges that were met upon moving to the UK. She had been detained in Detention for several months, once she was released it made life a little easier to integrate within the community and develop her network of people and services to connect with.

This storyteller shares how she made friends in the community.

Storyteller initially felt lonely in the big city but after his move to a smaller city he felt at home and not a stranger as he was able to live in a house and go to university where there are other foreign students. He also feels free to go out with friends and come back when he pleases. He also received support from a charity organisation.

Storyteller speaks about moving from the big city to small city and the experience being lonely at first until they joined a charity that helps migrants integrate, especially as they could not go into education for 6 months by law. After they made friends and became social in there area and are happy with their life in the UK.
